Warmest greetings,
I create nature inspired artwork for the home and office to reconnect us with the land. It is that connection with the land that I feel we need as a society. We are the land and the land is us.
Many of my pieces are inspired by the magnificence of nature and out of awe for its complexities. Respect and appreciation for wildlife and the land is a large part of my daily life.
I was born in Canada in 1980 and now live on a farm near Lillooet, British Columbia, situated on the traditional and unceded territories of the St’at’imc peoples.
Surrounded by wildlife and beauty, I create nature inspired works of art. I aim to capture the invigoration one gets from communing with nature. Most notably, I paint the heart of nature: what we feel and experience within our inner landscapes when viewing and connecting with our natural surroundings.
Intuitive landscapes make up my daily practice where I am able to delve deep into exploring and developing my visual language and colour schemes. This practice informs my larger more representational work as seen below.
